Hartley Services Group was proud to be selected for the refurbishment of classroom facilities at Ernest Bevin College, with the objective of transforming the learning spaces into modern, functional, and engaging environments for both students and staff. The comprehensive scope of works began with the replacement of existing flooring to improve durability and comfort underfoot, followed by the installation of new energy-efficient lighting to enhance visibility and create a more welcoming atmosphere. Full redecoration of the classrooms helped refresh the spaces with clean, contemporary finishes that promote focus and creativity.
To further modernize the learning environment, we installed advanced teaching aids, integrating technology that supports interactive and dynamic instruction. The project also involved a significant upgrade to the electrical infrastructure to meet current safety standards and support the new equipment. Additionally, the HVAC systems were overhauled to improve air quality and maintain a comfortable indoor climate throughout the year, ensuring a conducive environment for learning in all seasons.
Undertaking these works within an operational educational facility presented logistical challenges.
